Warranty

Our Commitment

At Evolve BMX, we build high-performance race BMX components designed to help you go faster, smoother, and safer. Every product is engineered to the highest standards, and we stand behind that quality.

This warranty explains how we look after you if something goes wrong, and how it sits alongside your legal rights under UK consumer law.

What’s Covered

Evolve BMX warrants that all new Evolve Race Frames, Forks and Rims are free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the periods below, when used as intended for BMX race riding and properly maintained.

Frames: 5 years from date of purchase. Structural manufacturing defects only

Forks: 2 years from date of purchase. Structural manufacturing defects only

Rims: 2 years from date of purchase. Manufacturing defects only

This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and to products bought from Evolve BMX or an authorised Evolve retailer.

Your Legal Rights

This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other UK consumer protection laws.

That means you still have the legal right to a repair, replacement, or refund from the seller if a product is faulty — regardless of this warranty.

How to Make a Claim

Contact us
Email sales@evolvebmx.com, with:

  • Your full name and contact details

  • Proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, or order confirmation)

  • Product model and serial number

  • Date of purchase

  • Clear photos of the issue and where it appears on the product

We’ll respond

You’ll get a reply within 3 working days confirming next steps.

Inspection

  • We may ask for additional photos or request that you send the item for inspection.

  • If we ask you to return the item, we’ll provide instructions and cover reasonable return postage if the item is later found to be defective.

Resolution
We’ll inspect and reply with a decision within 14 working days of receiving your product.
If covered, we’ll repair or replace the item — or offer a fair refund if neither is possible.

What’s Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by crashes, accidents, misuse, or neglect

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g. cosmetic scuffs, spoke tension, paint, or finish)

  • Improper assembly or maintenance

  • Modifications, re-welding, drilling, or re-painting

  • Use for freestyle, dirt jumping, street, or park riding

  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect structural performance

  • Damage from unauthorised repairs or non-Evolve parts

  • Any consequential or indirect losses

If a product fails due to accident or misuse, we may still offer a discounted replacement at our discretion.

Safety First

If you notice a crack, fracture, or sudden change in ride feel, stop using the bike immediately.
Contact us for guidance before continuing to ride — even small fractures can grow quickly under race loads.

Warranty Remedies

If a product is found to have a genuine manufacturing defect, Evolve BMX will:

  1. Repair the item (preferred option), or

  2. Replace it with the same or equivalent model, or

  3. Offer a refund that reflects the age and condition of the product.

We’ll choose the most appropriate remedy based on your specific case.

How Long It Takes

We aim to complete inspections and issue a decision within 14 working days of receiving your product.
Repairs or replacements typically ship within 5–10 working days after that.

Dispute Resolution

We always aim to resolve warranty matters quickly and fairly.
If you’re unhappy with our decision, you can:

  • Ask for your case to be reviewed by a senior team member

  • Use an approved Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) service

  • Exercise your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015

Important Legal Note

This warranty is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
It does not limit or exclude any rights you have under UK law — those always apply.
